Bristol, Lincoln have newcomers on the ballot

On Town Meeting Day, voters in Bristol and Lincoln will weigh in on contested races for open seats on their respective town’s selectboard.

Lincoln School Board members last week unanimously agreed to present voters with a spending plan for fiscal year 2025 that calls for $4,927,940 in total spending, an increase of $282,810, or 6.09%, over the current year.

Co’Relous Bryant has spent the past few months adjusting to a major change of scenery. This past summer, he left the skyscrapers of Manhattan for the mountains of Vermont, relocating to Addison County to lead the United Church of Lincoln. 

Lincoln Sports presents the 60th Anniversary of Hill Country Holiday (HCH) Friday, Feb. 2 through Sunday, Feb. 4.

An Open Art Studio featuring gnomes will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the library. Make a cute little gnome by sanding and painting an angle cut branch.

The hills of Lincoln are certainly alive with the sound of music. That’s in part due to the 2023 reopening of Pepperbox Studio, a recording studio run by Lincoln resident and record producer Kristina Stykos that she originally founded in Chelsea.

Lincoln’s annual Town Meeting will be on Monday, March 4, at 6 p.m., at Burnham Hall. Vermont’s Town Meeting Election Day and Presidential Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 5.
