Cornwall to celebrate its history Sept. 17

The town of Cornwall will celebrate its rich history on Sunday, Sept. 17, with a series of events focusing on agriculture, art and community.

Paul Audet, 69, passed away on July 24, 2023, after an unexpected cardiac event. He was a proud lifetime resident of Cornwall.

On Sunday, June 25, at 2 p.m., the Italian-born virtuoso Sandro Russo will play a free concert on the new Steinway piano at the First Congregational Church of Cornwall.

The Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department will once again host its annual Chicken Barbecue fundraiser at the Route 30 station on Sunday, June 11, from noon to 3 p.m. or till the chicken runs out, whichever is sooner.

The 108-year-old Samson Memorial House has become perhaps the nicest, but least used, building in Cornwall Village.
