G. FREDERICK EUBER

ORWELL — Fred Euber 56, died suddenly Saturday evening Aug. 19, 2017, at Porter Medical Center.

He was born April 20, 1961, in Middlebury, the son of Gordon F. Euber and Mary Catherine (Sampson) Euber.

Fred was a graduate of Fair Haven Union High School class of 1979. He was a self-employed general contractor by trade.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, driving his Corvette, riding motorcycles and snowmobiling and was an avid golfer.

CHARLOTTE MARIE CLARK DELISLE

MIDDLEBURY — Charlotte Marie Clark Delisle, 84 years young, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. She died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends in the Hospice Room at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.

She is survived by loving partner of 37 years Dick Merrill; her six daughters, Linda Cousino, Trish Morgan, Sherry Degraw, Cindy Cousino, Susan Haynes and Anita Clark; step son Larry Delisle; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters Betty (Hall), Barb (Darling); and brother, Dick Clark.

DONALD CYRIL CHARBONNEAU

BRANDON — Donald Cyril Charbonneau, age 85, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017, at his home in Brandon.

Donny was born in Swanton on January 12, 1932. He was the son of Louis and Hortense (Lucier) Charbonneau. He moved with his family to Leicester at a very early age and received his education in Middlebury, Whiting and Brandon schools. In his earlier years, he worked at the Rutland Railway. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and served until his honorably discharged 1961.

JUDY-KAYE CHANDLER

GLOUCESTER, Mass. — Judy-Kaye (Hill) Chandler, 72, of Gloucester, Mass., died at home after a long illness on August 16, 2017. She was born in Burlington, Vt. to Marjorie Orvis Hill and Charles Newell Hill in 1945. The youngest of six children, she grew up in Bristol, Vt. She was a graduate of the class of 1963 of Bristol High School. She excelled as a student and was named Valedictorian of her class. She later attended Jackson College in Medford, Mass.

PATRICIAAN T. BOEHMER

MIDDLEBURY — Patriciaann T. Boehmer 81, died Thursday morning Aug. 17, 2017, at Starr Farm Nursing Home in Burlington after a brief illness.

She was born July 2, 1936, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the daughter of Joseph and Cherry (Manning) Boehmer.

Patriciaann was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed word searches, puzzles and coloring, and loved animals.

MIDDLEBURY — Annette M. Hamlin 79, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving husband, children, grandchildren and goddaughter Ellie at Porter Medical Center. She was born December 20, 1937 in Burlington, Vt., the daughter of Joseph and Madeline (Provost) Martin.

GEORGE E. RAYMOND JR.

CORNWALL — George Emile Raymond Jr., 58, died Monday August 14, 2017, at Porter Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born August 30, 1958, in Middlebury the son of George and Emma (Mayer) Raymond.

George was a graduate of Middlebury Union High School class of 1976. He worked in all aspects of construction and carpentry for many years.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed kayaking, motor sports and racing.

YVONNE MANY

MIDDLEBURY — Yvonne Many, 80, passed away on Aug. 1, 2017, at her home surrounded by Angels.

Yvonne was born on June 13, 1937 in Bridport, the daughter of Avery and Mercedes Carl.  After high school, she worked at the Chittenden Bank until she married Raymond Many on November 17, 1956.  After raising their three children she returned to work as a bookkeeper at the Addison County Home Health until she retired.

STARKSBORO — Roland L. Haskins, 77, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, at his home in Starksboro.

He was born June 2, 1940 in Burlington, the son of Joseph and Hilda (Zeno) Haskins.

He enjoyed deer hunting, playing cards, watching the birds and working.

Submitting an obituary

The Addison Independent publishes paid obituaries and free notices of passing. Paid obituaries cost 25-cents per word, and $10 per photo. The obituary will publish as it is submitted on the date of the family’s choosing.

For those who do not wish to purchase an obituary, the Addison Independent offers anyone with a local connection the opportunity to publish a notice of passing. These notices may be up to 100 words and are subject to editing by our news department.

Submissions must be received by 11 a.m. on Wednesday for publication in the Thursday paper and 11 a.m. on Friday for Monday’s paper.

Generally, obituaries follow this form:
TOWN — Name, age, of town, died on date, of cause of death. He/She was born on date in town, the son/daughter of father's name and mother's name, including maiden name in parentheses.

Then include a paragraph or two about where the person went to school and what they did for work; where they lived, who they married and when.

Add a sentence or two about what made the person special to family and friends, including hobbies, avocations or other telling details about their life.

He/She is survived by spouse's name; children named individually (and their spouses and towns of residence, if appropriate); siblings named individually; number of grandchildren, parents or other immediate family members.

He/She was predeceased by names of immediate family members.

A memorial service will be held (fill in details of date, time, and place, plus officiate if applicable) with interment at (place). Memorial contributions may be made to (name and complete address, if applicable).
