Tiger dance sizzles

Jan 12, 2023 | Photos of the Week

MIDDLEBURY UNION HIGH School senior Joleigh Bradford, center, joins in with other members of the Tiger dance team and lots of folks from the audience in a spontaneous dance party at the MUHS gym while waiting for the judges to tally up the final scores of Saturday’s competition. THE MIDDLEBURY UNION High School dance team was in rare form on Saturday when it hosted the “Dance Trance” competition at the Tiger gym. This was the team’s first competition with spectators since the start of the pandemic, and the appreciative audience filled the stands and even came out onto the floor for a dance party at the end of the competition. The Tigers won first place in hip-hop and came third in the pom discipline, competing with teams from Colchester, South Burlington, Burr & Burton and Mt. Anthony high schools.
