VERGENNES — Between July 18 and 24, Vergennes police dealt with arguing couples, locked cars and a fraud complaint, as well as handled a number of other issues.
In those seven days, Vergennes police:
• On July 18 heard from a Main Street resident that her car had been struck while parked behind her apartment building.
• On July 18 served an abuse-prevention order on a male South Maple Street resident.
• On July 19 called the manager of an unlocked Monkton Road building to lock it up after hours.
