Have you ever noticed that the plants and trees change as you hike up Chipman Hill? Take a leisurely walk while identifying local plant life and think about why communities change from one spot to another. This walk will be led by Monica Przyperhart, the co-leader of the Middlebury-based Vermont Master Naturalist Program. A cell phone with the SEEK app is helpful, but not necessary. Attendees may want to bring a pair of binoculars for bird sightings. Pre-registration is preferred. This event may be postponed to the next day if the forecast indicates a very wet morning.
