Lincoln news for Aug. 8

LINCOLN — The next Pop-In People session will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the library. Paint a beautiful oyster shell that can be used to decorate a space or hold a few precious items. A big thank you to Lisa Palmer for the shells. Participants will use paints and other adornments to decorate their shells. There will also be time to read about and learn some interesting things about oysters.

The library is still having its front porch book sale. Stop by and browse anytime, even when they are closed. There is a self-pay box on the wall. The prices are $1 for hardcover, 50 cents for paperback, kids books are all 50 cents, or fill up a box of books for $5. Come and get them! Please do not leave boxes of books on the porch when the library is closed as they are no longer accepting donations for the sale.

Until next time … Make Each Day Count. Begin And End Your Day With Gratitude And Joy. The Unexpected Paths Are Often The Most Beautiful.
