FROM MATT ATKINS, LVFC
The Lincoln Volunteer Fire Company on Oct. 19 completed the installation of a new dry hydrant at Burnham Hall. This hydrant is part of a program to improve fire protection in our town. The fire company was assisted in paying for this with a grant through the Vermont Rural Fire Protection Task Force, through the Vermont Association of Conservation Districts. This hydrant will assist our mutual aid departments in providing water supply to emergencies in Lincoln.
REMINDER
Thanksgiving break for MAUSD students is Nov. 22 to 26.
