Monkton news for Jun. 3
MONKTON — The Monkton Town-Wide Yard Sale is being held on Saturday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.! There will be no group space provided this year, but a townwide map is being printed with area lawn/garage sales pin pointed.
If you would like to have your location placed on the map, the cost will be $10, plus you get a yard sign.
It is recommended that people who attend these sales to wear a mask and distance respectfully and to make money transactions sanitary by wearing gloves. Scout Troop 802 is advertising this event and creating the map for participating households. Get out, get some fresh air and attend this great event! For more information and to secure a spot on the sale location map contact Karen Parker at [email protected].
If you haven’t seen the notice yet, the Monkton Town Hall is closed from Thursday, May 27, until Friday, June 4. The office will re-open for normal duties in the new Town Office, located next to the Friends Methodist Church, on June 7.
The Town Clerk thanks you for your patience while office contents are moved to the new location!
