Bradley John D’Avignon, 31, formerly of Bristol
EAST HAMPTON, Conn. — Bradley John D’Avignon, 31, of East Hampton, Conn., and formerly of Bristol, Vt., passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, Conn., from complications of pneumonia, spending his last few hours in the comfort of his closest friends and family.
Born Dec. 31, 1989 in Middlebury, Vt., he was the son of William and Debra (LaMothe) D’Avignon of East Hampton, Conn. Bradley attended school in Bristol, Vt., until his family moved to Connecticut in 2001. He was a graduate of East Hampton High School in 2007, where he placed in the top ten of his class. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Mass., in 2011 with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Networking. Bradley had most recently worked as a Network Administrator for ZygoCorp in Middlefield, Conn.
Bradley had a strong passion for music, and enjoyed his time playing in the band Jackson Hill with his friends. He was an avid Bruins fan, and tried to watch every game. Bradley found happiness while golfing with friends, walking a dog, and whenever he had a cat curled up in his lap. Bradley was a kind, clever, easy-going soul, and he will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Besides his mother and father Bradley is survived by his maternal grandmother Shirley LaMothe of Middlebury, Vt.; his sister Allison Christianson and her husband Daniel of Ledyard, Conn.; his beloved niece Norah Christianson of Ledyard, Conn.; his aunts and uncles Kenneth D’Avignon and Margaret Booth, Ann D’Avignon and Michael Bromley, Daniel D’Avignon, Robin D’Avignon, Marcia and Garry Sprigg, Donna Lafoy, Shirleen and David Manley; and cousins Sara D’Avignon, Daniel Bromley, Kyle Morrissey, Charles Sprigg, Aaron Sprigg, Ryan Sprigg, Christopher LaFoy, Kimberly (LaFoy) Habbyshaw, Andrea Manley, and Kaitlyn (Manley) Hudson. Bradley was predeceased by paternal grandparents Robert and Gerlene D’Avignon, maternal grandfather Donald LaMothe, and his childhood friend Ryan.
A funeral service will be held at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main St. East Hampton, Conn., on Thursday, April 29, at 7 p.m.. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.. Interment will be held at Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery in Bristol, Vt., on Saturday, May 1, at 11 a.m. To leave online condolences visit spencerfuneralhomeinc.com.
