Heather Michelle McEvilla, 44, of Vergennes
VERGENNES — Heather Michelle McEvilla, 44, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born on Oct. 20, 1976.
Heather was a free spirit with a beautiful soul and an infectious laugh. She always tried to live life to its fullest. She enjoyed crafting, jewelry making, fishing and taking in the beauties of nature. But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Janthoni and Craig Chase; her son Asa McEvilla; sister Sara Cushman and her daughter Mackenzie Jewell; sister Leanne Sorrell and her daughters Ashlynn and Ava; sister Michaela Sorrell; sister Thomye Poquette and her children Chanler, Aubrey and Brooklynn; sister Mikayla Eckert and her children Connor and Izabell; brother Matthew Chase; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by Kipp Sorrell and Michael Robarge.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, at her sister Sara’s house, 165 Vt Route 22A, Panton.
