Deborah L. Shackett, 59, of Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY — Deborah L. Shackett, 59, passed away on July 5, 2020, at home following a long illness with cancer. Her sister Kathy was by her side.
She was born in Middlebury, Vt., the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Bougor) Shackett Sr.
Debi enjoyed football, the Chicago Bears and crocheting. She loved Country music and Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her husband Leo Moulton Sr.; three sons and their spouses, Leo and Angela (Grimm) Moulton Jr., Gerald Moulton, and Taylor and Erika (Brown) Moulton; seven grandchildren, Destiny, Hayden, Vada, Brittany, Addison, Remmington and Paisley; and aunt Theresa (Mama T).
She is also survived by one sister and four brothers and their spouses: Kathleen (Shackett) and Eugene Bacon, Edward and Karen Shackett Sr., Joseph and Janice Shackett Jr., Richard Shackett, and Bernard Shackett Sr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Debi was predeceased by her parents Mary (Bougor) Shackett in 1995, and Joseph Shackett Sr. in 2011, and one brother, Michael Shackett, in 2011.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pastor Luke will give the Graveside Service. A celebration of her life will follow at the Middlebury VFW. ◊
