VERGENNES — Harriett (Stagg) Griffith passed peacefully on April 2, 2020, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her friend and partner, William H. Scott. She was the mother of Larry, Irene, Donald and Diane. Another daughter, Linda, preceded her in death. She is survived by and will be remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Harriett will be best remembered for operating Scott Crane Company for many years until her retirement. A graveside service will be held  at a later date.◊
