SHIRLEY B. WARNER

EAST MIDDLEBURY — Shirley B. Warner, 90, died peacefully at home surrounded by her children and the pandemonium of the coronavirus on March 29, 2020.
She was born in Addison, Vt., on Jan. 2, 1930, the daughter of Elizabeth Abair and Charles Desjadon Sr.
Shirley graduated Middlebury High School.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl J. Warner. They had eight children: Gary (Pat), Richard (Louise), James, William, Susan (David), Carol, Joyce and Ronald (Marie). She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Shirley lived the majority of her 90 years in the Middlebury area. Many will remember her as the friendly, smiling woman that made grinders at Sam’s/Doria’s/Lyon’s Place.
Shirley had a great love for horses and was known to ride from Middlebury to Sharon, Vt., for work. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, birds, reading, puzzling and berry picking. A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date to be announced.◊
