The latest COVID-19 count on Tuesday, March 31

MIDDLEBURY — The Vermont Department of Health on Tuesday, March 31, reported that a total of 23 Addison County residents had tested positive for COVID-19, up from the 21 confirmed cases Monday.

Statewide, 293 Vermonters have tested positive for the coronavirus thus far. Thirteen Vermonters have died from the disease. Another 237 patients are being monitored, while 556 have completed monitoring. The Vermont Department of Health had conducted 4,250 COVID-19 tests as of today.
Chittenden County has reported the most coronavirus cases, with 152, according to the DOH. Addison County has the second most, with 23, followed by 18 each for Windsor County and Bennington Counties. Washington County has reported 15 cases, followed by Lamoille County with 13, according to the DOH.
Essex and Grand Isle remain the only Vermont counties without a positive test result to date.
