Monkton news for Mar. 19

MONKTON — Monkton is now a victim of the coronavirus scare. The Rabies Clinic scheduled to be held at the Monkton Volunteer Fire Dept. on March 24 has been canceled.
At this time, no future clinic will be held until next year. Call your veterinarian to set a time to get your pet’s necessary shots and stop in to the town clerk’s office to get your dog(s) licensed. It might be a good idea to call the town clerk first to check on her schedule for doing this.
If you know someone who was planning to take their pet to this clinic, please advise them that it has been cancelled.
