Rupert Billings, 86, formerly of Middlebury
ORANGE CITY, Fla. – Rupert I. Billings, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Feb. 16, 2020, at AdventHealth Hospice at Fish Memorial in Orange City, Fla. He was born Nov. 10, 1933, in New Haven, Vt., the son of the late Fredrick and Rita (Whittemore) Billings.
After twenty-nine years of employment at Standard Register in Middlebury, he moved to Orange City.
He enjoyed the warmth of Florida, watching car races, visiting with friends, and sitting outside in his yard, where he derived pleasure from his flowers and watching the birds and squirrels.
He was predeceased by his sister, Lois Parker, and his brother, Richard Billings Sr.
He will be missed by family and friends.
Interment will be at the Munger Street Cemetery in New Haven, Vt., at a later date.◊
