Cecile Tetreault-Booth, 94, formerly of Addison and New Haven
PITTSFORD — Mrs. Cecile L “Ceil” Tetreault-Booth, 94, passed away peacefully on Feb. 22, 2020, after a long illness. She was born in Acushnet, Mass., the daughter of Hervey Paquette and Cora Gingras on Nov. 29, 1925. She graduated from Watertown (Mass.) High School in 1944. She attended the School of Practical Art in Boston. Prior to her marriage, she was a dental laboratory technician in Boston and a telephone operator in Cornwall, Vt.
She married Yvon N. Tetreault in Middlebury (St. Mary’s) on May 29, 1948. She and her husband had dairy farms in Addison and New Haven, Vt. She and Yvon were active in the local chapter of the National Farmers Organization for many years. She married Floyd Booth in Fruitland Park, Fla., on Sept. 21, 2000. She had a life-long passion for family, friends, painting, crafts, and traveling in Europe. She was an active communicant at St. Ambrose, Bristol, Vt., and Our Lady of Fatima, Yalesville, Conn. She had been a member of the Wallingford (Conn.) Art Association, Leesburg (Fla.) Art Association, and Northern Vermont Artists.
Survivors include Mark (Shirley) Tetreault, of Cheboygan, Mich.; Theresa (Leonard) DeLorenzo of Rutland, Vt.; and Linda Tetreault of Birmingham, Ala. She was predeceased by her spouse Yvon in 1993, and her sons Paul in 1977, Andre in 2011, and Roland in 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd in 2001.
Grandchildren include Leslie and Katarina Tetreault; Matthew Tetreault; and Anthony, Thomas and Aimee DeLorenzo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at St. Ambrose Church, Bristol, Vt., on March 3, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bristol.
