Lincoln news for Dec. 12
LINCOLN — An after school craft with Betsy will be held at the library on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Crafters will be making wrapping paper with a variety of techniques including stamps, paints and forms. A snack will be provided. Sign up with Wendy at the library.
The community room exhibit at the library for this month includes paintings by Nancy Custer Carroll. Nancy has taken up painting in the last few years, and has previously displayed scenes from Maine at the library. This year she is sharing her most recent summer’s work titled, “The Garden Series.” Stop by and check it out.
There will be a family friendly Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the United Church of Lincoln. Pajama wearing is encouraged. The candlelight service will be held at 11:30 p.m.
REMINDER
The Burnham Music Series presents Alex Smith on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Burnham Hall. Admission is $10 for adults. Teens and kids are free. Refreshments will be served.
