Mary Louise “Weezie” Austin, 68, of Addison

MARY LOUISE AUSTIN

ADDISON — Mary Louise “Weezie” Austin died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at the University of Vermont Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 2, 1951, in Burlington, Vt., the daughter of Raymond and Bridget Evarts.
Weezie enjoy debating politics, especially with her son-in-law. She enjoyed spending her time reading and trying new foods and recipes. She found great pleasure in tending to her flower beds, but what she loved most of all was the time she spent with her family.
She’ll forever be remembered for her love and compassion towards everyone she knew, her endless conversations with many, and her countless advice.
She is survived by her beloved Bing; her children Hilary Austin and partner Ben Thibault of Vergennes and Alison Austin-Cyr and husband Elijah Cyr of Ferrisburgh; her cherished granddaughter Raigan Paquin; two brothers, Terrence and George Evarts; and sister Jean O’Connor, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister Joanne Evarts, and by her ever-so- loved niece Brodie O’Connor. 
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m., at the American Legion Post 14 in Vergennes.◊
