I would like to thank everyone who took part Green Up in Orwell. We collected 23 tires and 0.5 tons of trash.
A big thank you to the Orwell Village School kids and teachers who went out on Friday and Green Up their roads in the rain.
I would also like to thank my co-chairman Barb Young for helping me organize Green Up in Orwell this year.
Thanks to Christine’s, Red Sky Farm, Country Ag, Buxton’s, Orwell Gas and Go, Chipman Point Marina, Rob and Debbie Smith, Mike Christian, Bob LaDuc, and Tom & Mike Audet for donating prizes for our Green Up Raffle.
I would also to thank people who donated to the swap to reuse, re-purpose or to rehome to help keep good stuff out of our landfills and those that found treasures to take home.
I also like to thank the selectboard, town crew and volunteers for helping with Cleanup Day.
