Lots going on at Lincoln Library

LINCOLN — On Wednesday, May 15, there will be a children’s afterschool craft-making session from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Library. Crafters will be making tissue paper flowers. Make a bouquet to brighten up your home. These are easy, fun, and add festive cheer to any occasion.
A light snack will be provided.
Also at the Lincoln Library at 222 West River Road: Cribbage is now being played on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.. Bring your own board, come alone or with a partner, and have some fun playing cribbage.
This coming Saturday, May 18, is the Library Community Work Day. Join in the spring cleaning and fulfill your volunteering goals right here in town, making your community library sparkle for the summer. There will be raking, cutting, pruning, painting, washing and installing screens. This is a chance to bond over chores.
The following Saturday, May 25, will see Lincoln Library’s annual book and plant sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Held in conjunction with Lincoln’s Town Wide Yard Sale, the book sale will take place rain or shine on the library porch. Come by for the best book deals, beautiful plants and a friendly chat with your neighbors.
The library will accept donations of books at the starting May 18 — clean books only; no textbooks, spiral bound or moldy books, please. They will also be accepting donations of plants, so if you have plantings to divide, bring them down a few days early, or call us and someone will come to your location and help with dividing, and repotting. Call the Library 453-2665, [email protected] or call Sally Baldwin directly at: 802-233-0243.
