Middlebury Garden Club to host plant sale May 18
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at Middlebury’s College Park, across from Shafer’s Market & Deli.
As in past years, gardeners will find reasonably priced, good quality flowers, herbs, vegetables and other plants from members’ gardens, all ready for planting. There will also be a “Vintage Corner” with reasonably priced garden items.
Proceeds benefit the club’s activities, community service programs and maintenance of the Sheldon Museum gardens. Unsold plants are donated to area nonprofits.
The event will run rain or shine.
