UVM now offers business guidance for famers
VERMONT — University of Vermont (UVM) Extension farm business experts are available to provide individual financial guidance for any Vermont farm, forest or maple business.
Appointments may be scheduled from now through late April at one of eight UVM Extension offices around the state. The cost per 90-minute session is $25.
Sessions are tailored to the financial planning needs of the individual enterprise and may be used to review a business plan or records for an accurate financial analysis, prepare balance sheets to track the operation’s net worth or develop a balance sheet or budget. Individuals also may request advice on setting business goals, strategic planning or any other business-related matter and are asked to bring any relevant business records to their session.
Appointments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be reserved at regonline.com/clinicswinter2019 by Thursday of the week prior to the desired time slot. If requiring a disability-related accommodation to participate, contact Christi Sherlock at (802) 476-2003, ext. 200, or toll-free at (866) 860-1382, three weeks in advance of the scheduled session.
