Middlebury Community Players to host a ‘Play Date’ Feb. 25

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury Community Players is throwing a party on Monday night. “Play Date” is for anyone who might like to work with the theatrical company, or who has already worked with MCP on past shows, and wants to find out about future productions.
This is a no pressure, no fund-raising, and no commitment event. It will take place Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury.
“Play Date” will be a casual get-together for people who are interested in learning more about acting, directing, designing, stage managing, costuming or working on a crew. For those curious about local theater, this is a great time to ask questions, give suggestions, voice ideas, and meet people who share your interest.
Drop by the THT for food and drink, conversation, door prizes and some surprise entertainment. There will be a “Name That Show” slide show. Bring a friend in order to get an extra door prize ticket.
The Middlebury Community Players is the oldest all-volunteer theater group around and depends upon volunteer directors, producers, designers, actors and crew to offer quality theater to our community.
Can’t make the “Play Date?” Find out about the Players by visiting middleburycommunityplayers.org or email [email protected].
