Ilsley to feature five local storytellers

MIDDLEBURY — A new event that takes a new approach for telling, hearing and seeing stories will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. at Ilsley Public Library in Middlebury.
The event, dubbed “Story Sampler,” will consist of five short stories told by local tellers before a listening audience. Those sharing their varied tales that day will be Tricia Allen, Priscilla Baker, Daniel Houghton, M’Ellen Kennedy and David Weinstock.
This event will be filmed for MCTV broadcast and will also be available on the station’s web site, MiddleburyCommunity TV.org.
If you would like to be a listener and provide responses to help shape future offerings, please come by 12:50 p.m. The community room at the Ilsley Public Library is where this “story sampler” will take place.
