Neat Repeats grants $21.6K in the county
MIDDLEBURY — The directors of Neat Repeats Consignment Shop in Middlebury have announced the Neat Repeats grant awards for the fall 2018 cycle. A total of $21,647 was awarded in Addison County, as follows:
A total of $3,750 went to HOPE-Housing Solutions; $3,247 was made in 13 separate grants for family assistance; $2,700 was pledged to scholarships for students at Mount Abraham, Middlebury and Vergennes union high schools; $2,000 went to the HOPE Food Shelf; $1,500 supported the CVOEO Food Shelf; $1,300 funded the Vergennes Food Shelf; $1,000 went to Dinners with Love; $1,000 also went to Bristol’s Have-a-Heart Food Shelf; $900 went to the John Graham Shelter in two grants; $750 funded the Ripton Volunteer Fire Department; $600 went to the Whiting Community Cupboard; $500 was awarded to Addison County Substance Use Program; $500 funded Ferrisburgh Children’s Theater; $400 supported Town Hall Theater Shakespeare in School; $400 helped pay for the Weybridge School artist in residency; $350 was awarded to the MAUHS 7th grade; $250 went to Quarry Hill School; $250 went to the MESA Read-a-thon; $150 helped out the Bristol Fire Department; and $100 aided the Starksboro Sports Program.
All this was made possible by Neat Repeat’s volunteers, donors and shoppers.
