Families invited to work toward plastic bag ban
MIDDLEBURY — The environmental organization 350Vermont is inviting Addison County parents to join them for a “Mother-Up” meet-up dinner on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at the Middlebury Recreation Center.
The dinner will feature a time for discussion about organizing a plastic bag ban in Middlebury. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 7:30 p.m.
“Mother Up!: Families Rise Up for Climate Action” is a project of 350VT bringing together families to talk about the tough realities of climate change and to participate in the transition to a healthier and safer world.
A vegetarian meal and childcare for ages 8 and younger will be provided.
The Middlebury Recreation Center is at 154 Creek Road.
