When it comes to helping the needy, all legislators know that more handouts and benefits help. Especially they know that increasing those benefits also helps their own careers. Unfortunately most legislators leave it at that. They are not concerned about the careers of the people they are trying to help. But some folks know that beyond a handout these people need a hand up.
A strong and growing economy in Vermont will help them more than anything else. District Addison-4 candidates Valerie Mullin and Fred Baser, both successful business owners, realize this and will work hard in the legislature to make sure that Vermont’s economy continues to grow. I am voting for Valerie and Fred in November and I hope you will join me.
