FROM THE TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE: Ballots are available for the Nov. 6 general election, and early voting has begun. Help spread the word to family members in far away places, so we have time to get ballots to them and returned. It has been wonderful to see so many young voters requesting ballots. Being a global citizen does not mean that you have to give up voting. We have already sent ballots to students abroad in Morocco, New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada. Contact Sally Ober at [email protected] or 453-2980 to request an absentee ballot.
REMINDERS: The opening celebration for Potato Hill Park will be held at LCS on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Festivities begin with a picnic lunch (please bring your own) followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:15 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 28.
Lincoln Apple Day is happening on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Burnham Hall. This is a free event. All are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please bring your own apples to make cider, applesauce and pie filling and containers to bring it all home in.
