Some time ago bear season lasted through deer season. During moderate no-snow weather many bears were taken. But with deer season moved a week later and bear season ending, most of deer season very few bears were taken. Now with November being mild enough for bears not to den you would think to harvest more bears. The Fish and Game would have bear season during all of deer season when the most hunters are out in bear country. And a good time to age your bear for eating without being fly blown.
