Fair Haven football topples OVUHS

FAIR HAVEN — Defending champion Fair Haven Union High School cruised past visiting Otter Valley, 64-7, this past Friday in a Division II football clash.
OV quarterback Tyler Rowe scored on a 15-yard keeper in the second quarter to make it 14-7, but the 2-0 Slaters took over from there. The Otters dropped to 1-1 heading into a game at Mount Abraham/Vergennes on Friday.
Fair Haven held OV to 94 yards of offense and sacked Rowe six times. The Slaters racked up almost 500 yards of offense. Quarterback Cam Coloutti passed for five touchdowns and scored one. Aubrey Ramey caught a game-high six passes and scored once.
Otter Valley hopes to bounce back in Bristol on Friday when the Otters face D-II rival Mount. Abe/Vergennes.
