Letter to the editor: Jerome ideal for Vermont House

We write in full and enthusiastic support of Stephanie Jerome for the position of the Vermont House of Representatives for Brandon, Pittsford and Sudbury.
As a 5th-generation Vermonter, Stephanie knows and appreciates what makes this state special and will work hard to protect Vermont values. As creator with her husband of a very successful local business, she understands the environment necessary to help small, family-owned businesses flourish and the challenges they have to face along the way. As a mother of three children who all went through public schools and then on to the University of Vermont, Stephanie knows the importance of a quality education system. As a cancer survivor, she values and appreciates quality healthcare and well knows the critical need for affordable health care coverage for all Vermonters. As an outdoor enthusiast, Stephanie deeply values our increasingly vulnerable environment and wants to protect it for future generations.
As a tireless volunteer for her whole adult life, she has demonstrated the energy and desire to work for betterment of life for her fellow citizens. As current Chair of the Brandon Planning Commission, and Past President of the Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce, she has consistently proven her abilities to lead others and to think critically.
Stephanie Jerome is a smart, talented and wholly dedicated community member who we would be fortunate to have representing us in Montpelier. A person of great integrity and honesty, Stephanie will work hard for all those she represents, and for improved quality of life in Brandon, Pittsford and Sudbury. On top of all this, she is just a really nice person with a kind heart and a ready smile! We could not hope for a better House member and we look forward to electing her, with your help, in November.
Gary and Nancy Meffe
