Shoreham youth reported missing, but then found

SHOREHAM — Vermont State Police called off a search for an 11-year-old boy who reportedly ran away from his Shoreham home Monday evening, after the youngster returned home on his own.
Early this morning troopers reported that Kayden Torrey went missing from at 391 Torrey Lane in Shoreham at around 5 p.m. on Monday, July 16.
Described as approximately 4 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 65 pounds, with short blonde hair and blue eyes, Torrey was wearing a camouflage hat bearing the word “Rebel,” blue plastic sunglasses, a black tank top, black athletic shorts, and black flip flops.
About five hours after reporting him missing, state police said Torrey had returned to his Torrey Lane home and was in good shape and in good spirits.
Sgt. Matt Daley had gone to see Kayden and confirmed his condition.
