Children’s events will be held in Bristol
BRISTOL — Two events for children are coming up in Bristol.
First, the Children’s Literacy Foundation will be distributing books and telling stories for young people attending the Mary Johnson summer camps in Bristol on Tuesday, July 10. Bristol’s event is at 10:30 a.m., at the BASK program, housed at Bristol Elementary School. That same day, the foundation will distributing books in Middlebury at 1:30 p.m. at Mary Hogan Elementary.
On Wednesday, July 18, at 1 p.m., Bristol Summer School Age program (housed at Bristol Elementary School) is hosting an Emergency Services Day.
The event will feature firefighters, police officers and rescue squad personnel from Bristol for children in program to learn about their community, and about the people who help protect them.
