Salisbury news for July 5

The previously published date for the Conservation Commission’s program “The Birds of Summer” with Bridget Butler was in error. The correct date for the program is Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m. at the Salisbury church.  It is free and open to the public.
The next event in the “Summer Series” at the church is the renowned Nashville/Austin duo Twangtown Paramours.  They will perform this Friday, July 6 at 7:30 p.m.; the church is handicapped accessible.  There will be no performance on Friday, July 13 so people can attend the Festival  on-the-Green in Middlebury.  The July 20 performance will feature the Michele Fay Band.
The Salisbury Historical Society will present a program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 with Bill Powers and Brian Lindner.  They will speak and show slides about “The 1957 Dunmore Area Plane Crash.”
