Townwide yardsale is June 23 in Bristol; plan for it now

BRISTOL — Got stuff to sell or the itch to buy? The Bristol Recreation Department is hosting it’s 4th annual Town Wide Yard Sale on June 23.
It will give sellers the opportunity to do some spring cleaning and yard sale enthusiasts the chance to find some treasures.  The event is a great way to explore Bristol and meet the people who love to live here.
The advertised time will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Register your yard sale for that Saturday and all locations will be listed on the rec department map and included in all advertising. Plans are to publish information on the department’s website (bristolrec.org), as well as in the newspaper, on Facebook, Twitter, other online forums, local TV and radio, church bulletins and flyers.
No yard? The folks at the recreation department said that’s no problem; you can purchase a space on the town green.
The cost to get on the map is $20 for residential site, $30 for an enhanced listing (25 word description of your sale). The charge for a 10-foot-x-10-foot space on the green is $30; and it’s $35 for that space with an enhanced listing.
Register at bristolrec.org or at the Bristol Recreation office in Holley Hall.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Bristol Rec. Department offerings.
