I was excited to read in the Independent that Paul Ralston is considering a run for the State Senate. Mr. Ralston’s previous legislative career proves that he understands the primary function of an elected representative: putting the interests of his constituents above the blandishments and campaign contributions of the lobbyists and special interest groups that infest Montpelier. Mr. Ralston’s track record as owner of the Vermont Coffee Company and his involvement in the community prove that he is someone we can trust to work for us, the residents of Addison County. Please, Mr. Ralston, throw your hat in the ring. We need you!
