Storyteller Cindy Pierce to speak at Mt. Abe April 10-11

BRISTOL — Nationally recognized social educator and comic storyteller Cindy Pierce will be in Bristol on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 10 and 11, to speak first to Mt. Abraham students and later to the larger community.
Pierce will be at Mt. Abe to speak to students from 11-12 p.m. on both  the April 10 and 11 during the school day. She will also speak to the greater community on the evening of Tuesday, April 10, in the Mt. Abraham Auditorium from 7-8 p.m.
Pierce combines her humor and research as she talks to audiences about the realities kids confront in today’s media-driven world. Topics will include promoting healthy relationships and social courage in the digital age.
Free snacks will be provided by the Eagles Cafe. Free childcare will be provided by Mt. Abraham National Honor Society students.
