Sugar on snow party set in Starksboro for March 24

STARKSBORO — Head to Starksboro village on Saturday, March 24, for special sugar on snow activities to benefit the restoration fund of the Starksboro Village Meeting House. From 10 am to 2 p.m., local artists and craftspeople will be holding an art show and sale in the main floor of the historic Meeting House. Stop in and also enjoy seeing the historic sanctuary.
Then settle in for the sugar on snow party from 1 to 3 p.m. Sugar on snow, with doughnuts and pickles, will be available at the Starksboro Public Library in the town hall two doors down from the Meeting House. The maple syrup is provided by local sugar-makers. The library will offer story time for the young and young at heart. The Meeting House sale table will include Starksboro town history, Starksboro t-shirts, and other items.
If sugar on snow, doughnuts and pickles isn’t enough, visitors can also enjoy a hot dog, cooked on the Meeting House grounds. Donations are appreciated and will be used for the ongoing restoration project.
