Spin United surpasses goal again

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury Fitness hosted and sponsored the 5th annual Spin United in support of United Way Addison County and its programs and partners on Sunday, Jan. 21. To date, 76 spinning fundraisers and 153 donors raised $11,440 for the Addison County community, surpassing the $10K goal.
The event made possible with the help of many volunteer spinners and the generosity of the Middlebury Fitness owner Jerrod Rushton. Along with his facility and team of volunteer instructors and staff, including Ashley LaDuke, Megan Sears, Janice Rushton, Tamara Chase, and Lauren Ringey, spinners were kept energized and entertained throughout the event.
Sponsors also included the Addison Independent, WhistlePig, Frog Hollow Bikes and Juice Amour who provided delicious samples of their products and provided prizes for quizzes and giveaways.
Abby Murphy volunteered her services as a massage therapist and provided the much-appreciated service of working out kinks and soothing tired muscles for spinners. Volunteer Max Kraus was the ‘staff photographer’ for the day
