Stowe topples MUHS boys’ hockey
STOWE — Host Stowe dealt the Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey team a 4-1 setback on Wednesday night.
The Raiders improved to 8-1-2 heading into the weekend, while the Tigers dropped to 6-5-1 heading into a home game this Wednesday vs. South Burlington. Despite the loss they held onto sixth place in Division I.
Max Carr sparked the Raiders with a pair of goals, and Stowe goalie Kristian Viljanen stopped 25 shots.
Devon Kearns tallied for the Tigers, and goalie Jeffrey Stearns also made 25 saves.
