VERGENNES — Home Audiology Services recently opened offices at 34 Main St. in Vergennes. The 13-year-old company, which offers hearing aids and related services, is owned and operated by Dr. Christopher Beuhler; the officer manager is Jennifer DeCarlo.
Beuhler founded Home Audiology Services in 2004 as a house call-based business in Long Island, N.Y., then opened offices in East Moriches, N.Y., in 2005 and later relocated to a bigger office in Westhampton Beach, N.Y.  Beuhler relocated to Vermont with his wife three years ago and said he opened his Vergennes office because he desired to offer the residents of Vermont another choice for their hearing healthcare.
Beuhler said what makes the practice different from others in the area is product selection. It is the exclusive provider for the area of EarQ hearing aids. Home Audiology Services patients can select from a variety of hearing aid manufacturers and obtain the EarQ Secure Warranty coverage. They would also like to think that the experience you get when you come to the office is like no other. A company goal is for all members of the team display careful attention to patient needs and a caring environment, which contributes to patients referring friends and family members.
“My favorite part of the job is the immediate positive impact for patients receiving treatment for changes in the hearing range,” Beuhler said in a press release. “I love working with people; no two patients are the same.”
On Dec. 7 Home Audiology Services hosted an open house with a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce. Among those in attendance were chamber board members Bob Feuerstein, Geoff Conrad, Tim Brownell and Renny Perry; chamber staff Rob Carter and Maria Benoit; and members of the Vergennes business community and family.
Home Audiology Services, which can be reached at 802-870-7170, is open Thursday and Friday by appointment only. Beuhler also conducts hearing evaluations at patients’ homes within a certain radius of his office.
