Learn about genealogy in a hands-on workshop at Bixby on Dec. 16
VERGENNES — As a part of the Bixby Memorial Library’s Coffeehouse Series and following the success of genealogist Ann Watson’s workshop in August, the Bixby and Watson are offering a hands-on instructional session in genealogy research this coming Saturday, Dec. 16, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Watson will be available to help participants work on their own family research, answer questions, and suggest resources. This will be a hands-on work session appropriate for beginners to experienced researchers. Bring your genealogy problems and questions
The program is offered free of charge but space is limited. Register by contacting Adult Services Librarian Muir Haman at [email protected] or call 802-877-2211 with registrations or questions.
Watson has earned a Master’s in Education and holds a Certificate of Study from the Boston University Genealogical Research Program. She is a member of the National Genealogical Society. More information on her is online at familypicturesgenealogy.com.
