Father-son duo to perform in Lincoln

They Might Be Gypsies will perform for the Burnham Music Series at Burnham Hall in Lincoln this Saturday, Dec. 9. This band plays high energy, uplifting music with tremendous passion. They weave together the traditional sounds of early 20th century France with modern influences from Argentina to Barcelona. At the core, the group is comprised of father and son duo, Greg and Aidan Ryan, both life long musicians.
Greg grew up steeped in the musical traditions of his family, drawing inspiration from many genres. Greg’s playing expresses fire and passion mixed with sophistication and sensitivity. Aidan, now in his early twenties, has been performing for audiences since he was six.
Their debut album came out in 2010. With such success they produced their second CD, “Rendezvous” that also received rave reviews.
Come catch this duo in Lincon to see for yourself. Burnham Hall is located at 52 River Road in Lincoln. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, teens and kids are free. Refreshments will be served during intermission. For more information, call 802-388-6863.
