Police look for burglars who stole cookie company’s safe
FERRISBURGH — Vermont State Police are investigating a Nov. 24 burglary at the Vermont Cookie Love business off Route 7 in North Ferrisburgh, during which the culprit(s) made off with a store safe containing an unspecified amount of money.
VSP Trooper Adria Pickin said the burglary was reported at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Preliminary investigation revealed the culprit(s) forced their way into building and removed a safe that had been bolted to the floor. The burglar(s) then left the business through a back door.
Police said they have collected evidence from the scene and are looking for anyone who might have information that could help in the ongoing investigation. Anyone who can help solve this crime is asked to call VSP at the New Haven barracks at 802-388-4919.
