Film festival series to be screened at Town Hall Theater
MIDDLEBURY — The 2017/2018 MNFF Winter Screening Series at Town Hall Theater begins in December and runs through May 2018 with a specially curated film each month. each by a first or second time filmmaker.
Six films in all, the Series kicks off on Sunday, December 3 with a 2 p.m. screening of the powerful drama “Menashe,” directed by Joshua Z. Weinstein. The January selection will be the luminous documentary “California Typewriter,” directed by Doug Nichol, screening Sunday, January 7, also at 2 p.m. Following thereafter — “Novitiate” on February 18 at 2 p.m., “I Am Evidence” on March 11 at 2 p.m., “Lady Bird” on April 7 at 7 p.m. and “The Judge” on May 11 at 7 p.m.
A Winter Screening Series Pass, covering admission to all six films, is available for $60. Individual tickets to the films are $12.
