Make way for sweepers; Middlebury to clean streets at night this week

MIDDLEBURY — Town workers will be sweeping the streets in Middlebury each night this week — weather permitting.
Municipal officials on Monday said residents should be aware that, weather permitting, the Middlebury Highway Department will conduct street sweeping from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Monday, Oct. 16, and running through Friday, Oct. 20.
Road segments and parking lots to be swept are listed below. Residents are encouraged to refrain from overnight parking in these areas during sweeping operations.
