EAST MONTPELIER — Middlebury Union High School cross-country runners Sam Hodges and Caroline Hodges cracked the top 10 at Saturday’s U-32 Invitational to provide local highlights.
The Tiger boys finished seventh (209), while the Mount Abraham boys were 20th (548). The Tiger girls and Vergennes boys and girls also competed, but did not field full teams.
Hodges finished fourth in the boys’ race, and Kimble took ninth in the girl’s race. Commodores Wade Mullin and Emma Beauchemin finished 29th and 54th, respectively, in the boys and girls’ races, and Aidan May led the Eagle boys by taking 74th.
