Leland & Gray tops OV boys

BRANDON — Visiting Leland & Gray doubled up the Otter Valley Union High School boys’ soccer team on Tuesday, 4-2, dropping the Otters’ record to 2-2.
OV Coach Dick Williams said Leland & Gray controlled the first half in taking a 3-1 lead. The Otters possessed the ball for most of the second half and created a few chances, he said, but not as many shots on goal as he would have liked.
Four players scored for Leland & Gray, and goalie Quinn Kelloway made four saves.
Josh Letourneau’s goal nine minutes into the game created a 1-1 tie, and Ethan Sulik-Doty added a late second-half goal to create the final score, assisted by Collin Elliot. OV goalie Clay Hays stopped 10 shots.
